The Gordon McIntosh Consultancy

  psychotherapy and counselling practitioner

psychotherapy and counselling services

A 30-year career in mental health care and education enables me to work  with sensitivity, compassion, and respect.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and was trained and educated at the Universities of Cambridge, London, Oxford  and the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust, The British Association of Psychotherapists  (BAP) and the Institute for Group Analyses (IGA).

As part of my own training and personal development I engage intensive psychoanalysis.

This, alongside regular clinical supervision is to hold in check that my professional practice is focused, solid, and evolving.

I work long or short term with individuals who come with a range of treatment needs which include relational difficulties, bereavement, depression and anxiety and panic attacks.

I work from a very comfortable, confidential and discrete practice in Clerkenwell which has excellent transport links.
